Take an active part in our urban forest!

Whether you have an hour, a day, or even more time to give, we have an opportunity for you, and the list keeps growing. Lead or take part in a volunteer planting event. Upcoming Events

There’s always a place for you in Grand Rapids’ Urban Forest. Check out our full list of VOLUNTEER EVENTS and join in.

Plant a tree

The surest way to protect Grand Rapids’ urban forest is to plant more trees. Plant a tree in your backyard or grab a shovel, and JOIN US in planting trees throughout the city.

Tree Maintenance

We’ve planted trees all over Grand Rapids. Now you can help us keep them healthy by restoring mulch, pruning, and staking. Ask us how you can help the young trees near your neighborhood or workplace.

Your generous contributions keep our urban forest growing. Please consider DONATING OR BECOMING A SPONSOR.

Apply for a Mini-Grant
