PAL class: Park Planning

Join Friends of Grand Rapids Parks for our Park Planning: Designing a Park PAL class! This class will teach participants the basics of park planning and discuss recent park planning efforts in Grand Rapids. Park Planning: Designing a Park is taught by local GMB architect Matt who will share his experience designing parks here in Grand Rapids. The class is one of our four Parks Alive Leaders classes and is being hosted by GMB Architecture + Engineering. The building is LED certified and offers an exciting glimpse into the world of park design!

Parks Alive Leaders is a program that encourages neighbors to take free classes, form Parks Alive Leaders neighborhood groups, and plan park events. The program offers is free and open to all!

The class will start at 6:30pm at GMB Architecture + Engineering and is free for all! We know that traffic can make travel difficult, so please free free to come whenever you can! Please rsvp to Rachel at rachel@friendsofgrparks.org.
