Green Thumb class & gardening at Lincoln Park!

September 27, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Parks Alive Leaders and Friends of Grand Rapids Parks is excited to teach its fall Green Thumb class at Lincoln Park! Parks Alive Leaders is an FGRP program that encourages Grand Rapidians to take free classes with their neighbors, learn about our city parks, and be part of the effort to perfect your park!

The Green Thumb class will start at 6:00pm at the Lincoln Park Lodge, but please don’t worry if you arrive late! From 6-6:45pm Master Naturalist Jason will teach the class about native plants, gardening, and park landscaping! At 6:45pm we will head outside to add native plants to Lincoln Park. Class members will work together to add plants to a sloped area to control drainage and help beautify the park!

We will provide all the tools you’ll need, but please dress for the weather and for gardening! To rsvp or to learn more, email rachel@friendsofgrparks.org! This class is free to attend and open to all!
