Citizen Forester Tree Planting Class

October 11, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Fall in Michigan is so beautiful and there is no better way to celebrate the changing of the seasons then with a tree planting!  Friends is excited about all of the fun planting projects that are happening throughout the city!  Make sure to check the website for more information about all upcoming events!

Don’t be overwhelmed by the idea of tree plantings; learn everything you need to know about tree plantings!  Join Friends of Grand Rapids Parks for a workshop on tree planting. Participants of this workshop will learn the ins and outs of tree plantings. Anyone is welcome to attend so please bring a friend!

If you are interested in attending this workshop, please RSVP to Margaret Studer at 269.921.0592 or margaret@friendsofgrparks.org.  The event is free for Friends’ members and a suggested donation of $5 for non-members.  This workshop satisfies the tree planting class requirement for the FGRP Citizen Forester program.
