Free

Join us for our Branching Out learning experience on September 25th from 6 to 7:30pm at the Friends of Grand Rapids Parks Office at 15 Ionia Ave SW. This course will cover the importance of advocacy in your neighborhood. Advocacy is not only about chaining yourself to a tree, it is about earning the right to have powerful conversations that produce change. Whether you are working toward your Citizen Forester Certification or simply interested in making a difference in the parks and trees in your community, mark your calendars and join us for an afternoon of fun, education, comradery, and advocacy!

This class is part of a series of required classes to earn a ‘Citizen Forester’ designation. A $5 donation per class is encouraged. There is a 25 person cap for this class.
