Volunteer Garlic Mustard Pull at Aman Park

May 8 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

It’s confirmed – the invasive species, Garlic Mustard, has started to appear along trails at the beloved Aman Park! Let’s get out and clean up!

The West Michigan Conservation Network is co-hosting this important volunteer project. They will provide a brief introduction to Garlic Mustard and lesson on identification and removal techniques. Then volunteers will break into smaller groups to scan and remove the plant.

Details: Gloves and bags will be provided.   You may consider bringing your own pair of gloves, small trowel, wheelbarrow, sunscreen, a hat, bug spray and water.  All ages are welcome!  There will be opportunities to work in small groups but you may feel comfortable wearing a mask.
