Mayor’s Greening Initiative presented by Verizon

October 10 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

The fifth annual Mayor’s Greening Initiative, presented by Verizon, is taking place in the Garfield Park neighborhood!

This one-day volunteer event allows community members to make an immediate (and long-lasting) impact on our neighborhoods and health. With Mayor Bliss, Friends of Grand Rapids Parks, the City Forestry Department, and the Garfield Park Neighborhoods Association, we’ll be planting 400 trees in the neighborhood on October 9th & 10th – join us!
