Grand Rapids!
We have achieved our 175k goal in 10 days to open MLK and Briggs
Park. Any contributions received for the POOL FUND 2010 that exceeds
the 175k goal will still be directed to pools. Funds
raised during this campaign will be used to operate pools.
We are grateful to everyone that contributed. Friends of Grand Rapids Parks will continue to work with the City of Grand Rapids to develop more sustainable funding strategies for pools.
The
necessary amount in private contributions was raised by June 4th to
open the pools, if you pledged a contribution you will receive
notification to fulfill your commitment.
The City of Grand Rapids will continue to accept donations for the Pool Fund.
