Calling all photographers, history buffs, activists, and active users of community parks...
Friends of Grand Rapids Parks is continually updating our Explore page on our website. It allows people to easily search for parks, upload their park photos, make key contacts, search for park amenities and find valuable information and historical data about their favorite parks.
What we are looking for:
- video of community events in that park
- pictures that reflect the beuaty and vitality of the park
- historical information that shows how the park came to be and has evolved over time
- schedules of regular activities in the park i.e. Ultimate Frisbee, Running Club, Tennis
- an accurate account of the amenities in the park
- any special studies that may have been done i.e. plans, tree inventories, landscape plans
