Most trees lose their leaves in the fall. For those of us who rely on leaves to identify specific trees, this may be problematic. For as much as 6 months out of the year, we're stuck not knowing a Birch from a Beech! On Sunday, February 10 at 2pm, join Friends of Grand Rapids Parks' Lee Mueller as he takes you on a walk to learn how to properly observe some of the major characteristics that can help identify trees during their dormancy. Meet for the walk in the shelter at Richmond Park, located at 1101 Richmond Ave. NW.
