DESCRIPTION:http://www.friendsofgrparks.org/ViewEvent.ashx?eventId=218926\n\nThe City of Grand Rapids was presented the Siemens Sustainable Community Award for mid-size communities by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC) and Siemens Corporation. Winning communities will each receive a number of trees for planting throughout their community.  \nWe will need many volunteers to help get over 50 trees in the ground at various locations.  The planting is a partnership of Global ReLeaf of Michigan\, the City of Grand Rapids\, and Friends of GR Parks.  \nSaturday October 30th 9:00am-12:00pm (GR Bike Park\, Coit Bridge)
